Part 2: A Sweet Break
Having a car for the weekend pretty much means that a whole new world opens up with options on what to do and where to go! Everybody was set on Sweden and our Summer House, but we wanted to make a stop on the way…
Grabbing some coffee, something to eat (read cake) and some fresh air. We love the sea and before you drive over the bridge to Sweden you actually pass the most beautiful place in Copenhagen, Kastrup Sea Bath. None of us had been there before so that was the place to stop!
Kastrup Sea Bath is a real treat for both body and soul and a truly magical place. The view over to Sweden is pretty beautiful and the building protects you from the wind. We have a strict rule about not eating in the car (it’s a dangerous business) so we brought coffee and cinnamon buns and enjoyed the company of a few hungry seagulls.
After our sweet break we took the time to walk around on the beach and in the park. Collecting memories in the shape of seashells and stones, and just playing. We headed back to the car to drive across the bridge to Sweden (the coolest part according to Lykke and Levi)!
It was Levi’s turn to choose the loudest music and we headed off…
